Peace?
PEACE?
In 2016, the Colombian government and the FARC guerrillas signed a peace agreement that ended more than fifty years of civil war. Four years later, the Colombian State has not complied with what has been signed and more than 200 ex-combatants have been killed.
POVERFREE
In many imaginaries, living in the countryside is synonymous with freedom, but in Colombia, peasants live below the poverty line, have higher rates of child malnutrition than the rest of the country, and suffer threats from armed groups, including the army. In 2019 Colombia has had the highest number of murders of social and environmental leaders in the world. From the territories they continue resisting.

52
52 years lasted the civil war between the Government of Colombia and the FARC. This project brings together 52 portraits of members of that armed group who signed the peace and allowed themselves to be photographed during the peace process. The photos were taken in Cuba and the jungles of Colombia.
COVID/FAMISH
During the Covid19 pandemic, many neighborhoods in Bogotá, the capital of Colombia with nearly ten million inhabitants, are hungry because there is no state aid. Other people have had to go to live on the street since they do not have money to pay their rent and have been evicted.
